Joanne Bydal President of Mission Health Care Auxiliary Society and it’s members, wanted to do something to show their appreciation for the nurses, doctors & staff of Mission Memorial Hospital.
“Doughnuts”
Bydal reached out to Owners Calvin and Curtis Adams of Tim Hortons located in The Junction and Cedar Connector.
The Auxiliary and Tim Hortons partnered to bring 20 dozen doughnuts individually wrapped to Mission Memorial Hospital on Monday March 30th.
The doughnuts were picked up at both stores, photos taken and delivered to the hospital by Joanne Bydal and Alyce Campbell who were met by 6 volunteers. Being mindful of keeping 6 feet apart they were taken to the door of the lower entrance of the hospital and handed over to Kat who then had them distributed to all departments of the hospital.
