Volunteer Bio – Alyce Campbell

Alyce was born and raised in Vancouver, moved at the age of 6 to Burnaby. She worked as a Accounts receivable customer service assistant manager.

As Burnaby grew, Alyce started looking for a quiet community to move to. At a friend’s suggestion, Alyce visited Mission. It didn’t take much convincing after that. She settled here in 1999.

Alyce volunteers as an usher at the Clarke Theater and is a member of the Mission Health Care Auxiliary. She joined the auxiliary more than nine years ago and now serves as the first vice president, soon to be president in February. She also works at reception. She looks after the auxiliaries publicity and works with new volunteers.

Alyce is an amateur photographer and she enjoys travelling. She has visited Greece, Egypt, Jordon, Australia, England, Scotland, Ireland and Turkey. She has been to Budapest and Nuremberg traveling on Viking Cruise Line. In April she will be cruising across the Atlantic to Barcelona, visiting Florence, Venice, Cinque Terra and Frankfurt

“I’ve made so many friends at the Mission Health Care Auxiliary. Consider joining us if you want to be part of an active group interested in contributing to the community.”
