Bev joined us as a volunteer in 2006, so she will be celebrating ten years of service in 2016. She currently works at the Visitor Reception, where she was the Convenor for four years.
Bev also volunteers at St. Andrews, where she is in charge of the Health & Wellness Committee.
She worked at Pleasantview Care Home for over 20 years, and took courses on:
• Caring for the Person with Dementia
• Building Service Worker, and
• Custodial Technician
Bev had three children, two sons and a daughter; sadly, one son has predeceased her.
Bev knew four languages in her youth, and she still speaks and understands Russian.
